I called the NVC and I just want to verify with other Canadians,

On question 23, it asks to list ALL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS ATTENDED! I would think this question meant all post secondary or at the most, high school- did any of you go back to your elementary days????????? This is what two NVC men told me to do!!!! I just find this question and Qu. 25- list all previous visits/residence in the US the reason why it has taken me a month long to complete this form.

I remember more and more but then I feel like there will be a discrepency with the dates!

What do I do??????????

Please, anyone help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Husband was the beneficiary - we listed his schools back to primary school - we did not however list every single primary school he attended.

I have read of people who just started at the Secondary school stage and others who started at elementary as well. Both had been accepted.

Is there a problem listing all your schools?

As for Canadians and the 'all visits' question. I have read many replies to this where the person just stated something like 'too many trips to mention over the past 15 years for shopping and visiting relatives' - something to that effect.

They are basically asking you to recall all your visits to the best of your ability. In the month it has taken you to try to list them all you could have submitted it to NVC and been approved - not criticizing you here - just saying, scribble it down and get it mailed

I would recommend that you write in all the ones you have remembered so far, then just write a note that you have listed all that you can remember, to the best of your ability.

I just want to stick in here, all I put for educational instutions was my University. I've already gotten P4 and my interview date, so no RFE from it?

Grade school is public education (unless you went to private), any post-secondary is considered an "institution". But if you want to put all to be safe, I'm sure they're not going to have an issue with it

I am not in that stage yet, but I am a little concerned. I was in the U.S. on an F-1 from 2002-2008..there were lots of visits back to Canada in that time...Do I just put F-1 visa Month/Year to Month/Year? 10 years! Thats 1999! For the first 4 summer semester breaks I moved back to Canada to work summer jobs! My head is spinning  You should have seen my Supplements on the G-325A for employment and residences!

I have visited at least once a month since I returned and resided in Canada, and I think I have them all marked in my planner....

I actually just put "Multiple visits every 3-8 weeks"

On the DS 160 it asked for the last 6 visits, so I listed them all out. Luckily I keep a day planner so I had the last 6, but we have been dating long distance for over 5 years so there was no way I was listing out every visit!! I think they get that.

Oh and for education, I think I went as far as high school and that was it... i figured it was like a resume, you don't need to go back too far.

Put down what you remember. Don't worry about specific days of the month...if you remember the months and years that's good. Yes, it takes a long time to fill in. Especially if you've had many many visits. Just put down what you remember to the best of your ability.

Remember when you were first starting out filling out all the information on the 129F and 325A? Seemed like lots of little information and everyone is SO careful about making sure all the i's are dotted and all the t's are crossed. This is no different. I don't know why people want to just skim over the paperwork at this stage of the game. I'm not bereting you OP, I know that the paperwork is daunting, and really annoys a person when all you want to do at this stage is to get it back so that your case can move forward, but just like at the interview stage, give them more than they ask for, be complete as possible, and then you may avoid an RFE.

Thank you all.

Trailmix, I dont have a problem listing all my listing all my schools BUT I went to 4 different high schools- one twice- so it is a little crazy going back so many years ago and getting the dates!!! My mind is spinning too.

Carlawarla, if I am not mistaken, they don't ask for the EXACT days- if so I would really be screwd!

Personally I would list all the high schools and post secondary education at least.
