Has anyone sent off to there respective Police station in the UK for a record or copy of there background check/criminal history , and if so , what form of payment did they accept from the US. According to my own force in Scotland , cheques or money orders are the required method of payment , thats fine if your in the UK but what if your already here. As far as i have found out the UK does not accept international money orders and my wifes (usc) bank account is a small local bank and not a major banking institution. I have sent an email to the local HQ in Scotland and asked if they would accept a Travellers cheque to the value of the fee.......stilll awaiting a reply from them , so any input from you guys would be a help , thanks
