Hi! I came on a j-1 visa which expired in august 25, 2008. We got married in June 13, 2008 and files AOS Aug 8, 2008. I got my AP document and I am going home. I am hesitant with this AP doucment. I do not understand if I should use my expired J-1 visa when returning? I alsoo have a valid tourist visa... what visa houls I show? Is it usual for people adjusting status to get denied their entry into the USA?? What really happens if they deny your entry??

Please any help would be really appreciated!!!

Nether visa is being used for re-entry, the AP document is for re-entry.

The J-Visa is expired son is not being used, and you are pending AOS so are not considered to be a tourist.

The only reason they would deny entry is if you did something that makes you inadmissible.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

The only thing that comes to mind in your case is that you were on a J visa here before, did that carry a 2-year home residence requirement?

Hi YuandDan! What could make me inadmissible?? I am just trying to understand everything before I leave. What could be the reasons for them finding me inadmissible??

Thanks again for all your help!!
