Maybe all the American auto haters will be having company soon. Wouldn't it be funny if Toyota went down the tubes too? It would give us American supporters something to be happy about. I just can't imagine how a Japanese company could have an operationg loss. They are better than everyone else.

I don't understand all the "us" and "them" attitude with certain things here.. cars being one of them.. I mean if you buy a Toyota yes it's a Japanese (?) car but, the people selling it, shipping it the government taking their cuts from it are putting it back into America? If Toyota went bust tomorrow a lot of Americans would be out of jobs.. would they not? Don't get me wrong my wife drives a Saturn and I have to admit.. I drive a Ford. The us and them thing is just a tiny wee bit stupid in my opinion.

This was for all of the anti Detroit posters here. The ones who worship Honda and Toyota and say screw GM, Ford and Chrylser. If GM or Ford goes bust, it will put more Americans out of work than if Toyota goes belly up. But the Detroit haters don't care.

Ah, now I understand thanks for the clarification! Yes I'm sure a lot of people would be out of jobs if any of the big US auto makers went bust. I hope they don't that's a lot of jobs and a lot of peoples lives. I have to admit I'm not a huge fan of how GM conducts business but I will say my wifes Saturn just won't die.. it's like the ever ready bunny! My ford I'm not totally happy with but then again the timing belt died which happens, no damage just replace the belt and it's as good as new.

toyota sucks and makes crappy trucks along with ugly looking cars anymore, they have lost their course of bearing! The Big Three of the USA will continue to dominate them forever!
