Maybe all the American auto haters will be having company soon. Wouldn't it be funny if Toyota went down the tubes too? It would give us American supporters something to be happy about. I just can't imagine how a Japanese company could have an operationg loss. They are better than everyone else.

Okay, they do have the Prius and the Corrola, but try and find these vehicles at your local dealer, see a mass of large pickup trucks, Landcruisers, and Fourrunners, all with EPA fuel economy ratings just as bad as GM and Ford if not worse. GM and Ford also make fuel economy vehicles, some very reliable, but can't find those either, all trucks and SUV's, dealers can't even find parking space for them.

Why? Is that big stuff where all the profit is at, as long as gas was cheap, they were caught with their pants down, and that also includes the truckers, RV dealers, and the airlines. Toyota is no different.

Maybe now they will keep a watchful eye on what kind of fuel their vehicles need to run, nothing more useless than a vehicle with an empty tank, they don't run worth a damn.
