Good morning all... having a bit of a snowstorm... We got to close our store early today and watch the snowfall.

if it continues (we are currently at @ 6 inches in 4 hours) we won't open today either.

Thank you Maggie for checking on me :blush: so nice to be remembered :star:

The timeline... (Frankfurt) for the kids visas

10/22/2007 Filed I-130 x 2 in person + paid 710 USD (355 each )

10/22/2007 Filed DS-230 part 1 x 2

10/22/2007 Received the document checklist and FRN (case) numbers

12/18/2007 I-130 petition approved, but I didn't know. I was away at the time, didn't get confirmation letters til I got back from the states.

12/20/2007 Notice of Approval arrives in tha mail. According to the date received stamp on back of envelope at my post box.

Will now wait til hubby is back from Iraq to fax in checklist readiness, even though, I have been ready since day of lodging I-130's. all except medical.

02/18/2008 Faxed the "checklist" back to the consulate.

02/25/2008 Medicals completed.

02/25/2008 Appt letters in mail for appt on March 7th. Cant go due to prior military commitments. Emailed consulate and received an amended appt date of March 12th 2008.

03/12/2008 Visa interview - APPROVED x 2

03/27/2008 Visa's finally generated. I emailed the consulate. they apologised for the delay. They forgot to issue the visas after approval.

03/31/2008 Received visas

04/26/2008 Flying out of Frankfurt to next duty station on orders.

08/08/2009........Filed for removal of conditions.

12/16/2009........ROC was approved.

11/05/2010........Eligible for Naturalization.

03/01/2011........Separated.

11/05/2012........Eligible for Naturalization.

Good Morning Mena!! Its sooooooooo cold here today. The wind is whipping up the snow that we got last night and its probablt 15 below zero out. Am getting ready to go to the masjid. I think i'm nuts!! Haha. But dedicated anyway!

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday. i am hoping to go finish my Holiday shopping but we are getting a little snow so i dont know if thatll happen. if not i cant finish til Christmas eve and that is sooooooo not me!

June 11 05-Married George, civil ceremony in New York

May 30 08-Baby Joshua was born

Jan 15-Back to NY we go...

May 10-made decision not to go back overseas.

July 10-filed for divorce

Jan 11-Divorce final

July 11-1st trip to take Josh to see George

Mar 12-2nd trip to take Josh to see George

Mornin peeps!

We found a 2 bedroom house yesterday (after looking at 10 other houses) . The place is quite nice with a bunch of upgrades, a wooden deck off of the front room, and a patio out back. it was built in 1980 lol and u can totally tell it by the structure but it's ok, i won't tel haha.

They only want 75 thousand for it so we're gonna put a bid in today. It comes with the washer and dryer, fridge, stove, microwave dishwasher....what more could we ask for right now..!!! pray that god allows to happen what he wills and that we will be safe in whatever he decides.

All of you snow/ice hoggggs ...stay safe. I know what a pain in the arrrse ice and snow can be after 1 day or so. so just be careful.

Jess sweetie!! How are you feeling?

Im getting better slowly. still working on getting one incision healthy but itll take some time. just keepin it clean/etc. im able to get around better which is nice and i can take care of josh by myself. so at least thats positive. i got almost all the presents i have here wrapped i justt have a few things left to get. YAY
