I Had My Interview on the 18th Dec. The Lady Who took My interview was White Blonde Appox 40 years Old ! When i Went at the Window She Luked at me and asked if i speak any english . I said I think So i can . She Replied i think u can cause u have lived in Uk for 4 years is it ? i said yes 4 years . The interview went fine she asked me couple of questions about my spouse like Where did i first met her . what is that i like so much about my Spouse . Have i ever met her in person . where does she work. what was i doing in the Uk and couple more which i answered correctly. so after 5 mins she Told me that Everything seems fine and handed me over a parent information sheet along with a green paper and asked me to fill it in . Then she told me its taking about 4-6 weeks to get a visa issued . tho it can be longer then that depends upon washington. then She handed me my passport along with list of Approved courier agents and told me i need to send in my passport when i receive a call from them . So i went back to the seat filled in the parents form and then read the green paper which stated YOUR VISA HAS BEEN TEMP REFUSED FOR FURTHER AP. I went back to her gave her the parents Information sheet and Told the lady about the temp refusal thing . She said Oh they are just words dont worry ur case is fine ! Then she asked If i have Any Plans of travelling abroad I said No ! So she said Can I Have ur Passport then . i said sure and Handed her My Passport

Now The Question is What Does that mean is it an Approval . Cause Normally they provide one with a reason for AP but to me she did not !!

Thanks and sorry for my bad grammer

Edit- Another thing I Asked her if she wanted some more evidence from me Fone logs , My daughters Birth certificate . She said No the stuff u have sent in is more then enough and returned me Affidavit of support doc

Hi, I don't know a lot to help you but from my experance when they take your passport it is a goog thing, just wait a little while. I know how badly the workers can treat up non US citizens, but don't keep thinking about it, that was a good thing that they took your passport. Call your Spouse and let him call and fine out if you got your visa. They will give him infomation faster than they will give us it.

All male family visa applicants from Pakistan will be put on AP. Only if there were a specific reason given would you need to consider this bad news. Keeping your passport in this case is neither good or bad. She kept it because you indicated you planned no other travel. This will save time once the AP is completed.

I'm in NO way a pro at this but if you check in the MENA forum with other people from Pakistan, indications are that if they keep the passport - all is good, especially if they ask the question "are you planning to travel abroad soon". Other members in that forum have had a very similiar experience as you & soon reeived their visa!

Blessings & Best of Luck to you (F)

Yes, this does happen but not particularly often. Please downsize your signature width.

It is normal. My husband is from Pakistan was in UK on student visa. I waited all night long, no sleep, praying , praying, duas , duas, and he called . If he got it he was suppose to sing our fav song, well no song, but he said not bad new either.

We thought we would be waiting for long time, however after two weeks at 4am I woke up to my phone ringing and when I picked it up, he was singing our song.. I cried , yelled and called my good friend (at a very early hour..lol) .

So just be patient , hopefully Inshallah it wont take long for you.

Its not bad news, at all. Just normal..
