I am new to this forum and was looking through the time-line of members who submitted their i-130. My first observation is that i-130 got approved in under 3 months in 2007. but it looks to be longer in 2008.

I was wondering if there are VJ members out there who submitted their i-130 in September 2008 and has gotten it approved ?

How long (on average) really depends on several things...such as who is filing, for whom and/or what purpose. Your post is not clear on that as it is posted in Bringing Family Members of US Citizens To America.

I dont know what service center you filed but for my case its VSC first then they transfer it to CSC just yesterday which they say is much faster (praying). My receipt date is September 1. As i look at the other trends its taking 1 to 2 months for the cases trasfered to CSC. hope we got our approval soon.
