Already received NOA2, what happens next?

Hi guys, its been 4months since my fiance Vince and i sent our application for a fiance visa and by God's grace we have finally received the NOA1 last April 24, 2006 then followed by the NOA2 on May 11, 2006. However, my concern is how long does it take for the US embassy to mail the first packet to me. I would gladly appreciate if anyone can tell me regarding this question. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my mail. May God bless everyone applying for their US visas... =)

hello, first of all, please fill in your timeline.

I believe that the running time for K1 interviews are about 4-5 months to get an inteview date. and within that period, you get your packet 3 which you will take with you to the interview.

it takes the manila embassy quite some time before they send out your packet 3. I would give a rough estimate of about 2 months. You can try giving thim a call and ask them if they have recieved your petition. Ask them if you they have sent you the Packet 3, when it was sent and if you already have an interview date. They're pretty good about giving that info IF it is at hand. I would wait it out a little bit before i call but i guess knowing earlier wouldnt hurt. Usually the petition goes to NVC first and then it gets forwarded to the US embassy in manila.

PS> get ready for a huge phone bill. i think the call is charged like 55 pesos a minute. i may be wrong but a fellow vj member called and thinks they have like 1000 spent on a single call to the US embassy. :)

What i meant with the 4 months was, we filed it up on january and got our NOA1 and NOA2 by april and may.. Thank u guys for the effort, i have no regret for coming to this site....
