Test Questions at Interview

I have my interview scheduled on 6th January. I applied before Oct 08, so know I have the choice of the New or old test questions. I have studied the current 100 questions on the USCIS website (following these choices on the website Home - Education & Resources - Naturalization Self Test) - but, now I need to know whether these are the question for the "old" or "new" test.

Please disregard my post - the answer was quite clear - I just totally missed it. the test I am studying is the "old" test. I also looked at the "new" test. While they are similar, I think the multiple choice style of the old version makes it somewhat easier, and I'll be asking to take that choice.

I'm curious, what are other peoples thoughts on the two tests - is one "easier" - in your opinion?

They are both easy. I did the old one. I felt the old one was quick. The new ones questions are a little more in-depth.

Even though my wife took the test last July, the new test was out, many of the questions were identical, read the question, memorize the answer and hope you have at least a 60% retention. Like many other applicants on this board, was only asked six questions, but could have been asked seven, but if they have to ask eleven for you to get six right, then you are dead meat. We went over all the questions while driving over.

English would be easy, if your interviewer can speak that language, wife's interviewer couldn't, so that made things a bit more difficult for her. Kind of like calling Microsoft when you could to ask a question, the guy on the other end couldn't speak English. Could you repeat that answer?

I am a bit confused about your post. Old test is 96 questions, new one is 100.. Make sure you know the one you are studying, as the new one has some questions which is not just a re-phrase of the old test.

AT my interview, since I too applied before the deadline, I was to have the choice between the 2 tests, but I didnt get the choice, he just went with the old one!! I passed so I didn't ask why I didnt have a choice!!
