We waited so long for it, it was just kind of a given. No pins & needles, no psychotically checking the USCIS site. Just oh good, its finally here, great that its a 10 year card, blah blah blah. We did say had we known, we would have done a CR1 - which is such a more comprehensive approach to immigration. What is done is done.

Probably, AJ meant this to be for marriage-based/conditional GC's (basically purpose of VJ)--but poll also works ok for employment-based ones, so: felt like celebrating with good food (and did, next day, after returning to Atlanta)!

I don't feel anything when i got my GC,feeling is the same...so what? if i have it or not......

i don't feel any excitement,or whatever...............

because for me being with my husband and having a family is enough for me....ofcourse i have to work to help my husband in everyway i can...

but honestly i dont have any intentions of being like this or that......i know i'll be having a good opportunity here since i am a animal doctor and knowing that animal doctor is so indemand here in states ,also have a high salary that was according to my researched....

and now i am looking forward for my credentials right after i have our baby by january.i know i have to take NAVLE (North American Veterinary Licensure Exam) before i can proceed to the next step of my life,but for the mean time i can work in vet field since i have my degree....

anyway i don't mind if i work here in states or i am in the philippines.......(Just work hard)

so i don't care if i have green card or none...........

My husband called me @ work said his came in the mail today. Big sexy time when he gets home @ 2 pm...Oops my phone lost charge

august 2004 I-129 filed (neb)

DEC 2004 Approved

interview: SEOUL

MArch 21st , 2005AR for special security clearance,washington

May 18th tranfer case from Seoul to Islammabad

June 21st security clearance done

June 28th online at the embassy in Islamabad

waiting for paper transfer and the good word

OCTOBER 14TH 2005 Interview Number 2: ISLAMABAD, PK

AR number 2 sent to DOS per Islamabad (2 cable request)

Nov 22 okd updated financial and etc proof accepted / embassy waiting for security cables

dec 20th one cable back waiting on 2nd

Jan 17th.. good word recieved. SECURITY CHECKS ALL CLEAR!!! DOS says embassy to contact him within two weeks!!!!!!

FEBRUARY 10th, 2006 VISA RECIEVED!!! They called him In via phone, stamped his passort and sent him on his way!!!

FEB 28th WELCOME HOME>>>POE CHICAGO did not even look at xray, few questions. one hour wait at Poe

march 10th marriage (nikkah at the islamic center)

aug 2006 AOS interview, cond 2 yr GC arrived september

June 2008 applied for removal of conditions on permant residency aka awaiting for 10 yr greencard

Dec 2008 10yr green card approved, no interview.
