Other- my suggestion is you make a book made like a cook book but filled with our MENA stories. Whether it be stories of how we all met our spouses, or pages of our visa processes, or how the spouses are adjusting and compile it into a 220 page book like a cook book. Basically each story we all submit be the size of a cook book page recipe Short and sweet! :)

Ok ppl...I need to know what you all think of this idea and if you'd do it or not....LET THE POLLING BEGIN!!!

I like the idea :) I would want one bcz it would be an awesome memory book of stories of people I actually know of stress, struggles, joy and achievement. It would be something to share with family for generations.

Add a recipe or something of that sort wouldnt bother me either.

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

I like the idea but i am a for memories sake kinda gal too.... i like having something to rember good and bad times and the people that help make a difference in my world.. I think i would put the recipe i cooked for my MENA family. I thought i was only cooking for mom, dad sis and husband but ended up cooking for grandma, grandpa, two aunts 3 uncles mom, dad, two sisters etc...lol it was Mexican food too from scratch cause in Morocco they don't have mexican food anything. :)
