Hi,

I just used that card. When I first connected it said 40 minutes on the card for the $5.00 then the actual was just 15 minutes!

I use prepaid cards everyday to call my wife in Philippines. Some I buy locally such as $2 TV Phonecard and get 16 minutes or $2 Platinum World and get 14 minutes but the best at this time I buy online for $5 and get 49 minutes. The link is here and it shows a $20 card but just change the amount to $5 and follow instructions. I have used this company many times with no problems. Hope this helps

Hello I am wondering why you only got 15 mnutes? Did you lose connection and if you did you could have called customer service and they would put time back on your card, at least they did for me one time. Please let everyone know what you finally do.

I used calling cards for quite a while and I really didn't find a single one that was dependable. you either got shorted on minutes or got a terrible connections.

I switched last month to owtel.com. After you sign up, they give you a 1-800 number to call, after you connect there, just dial the number you want and talk as long as you want. At the end of each month, they send you a bill, it's only 16 cents a minute, no hidden fees and the connection has been great so far.

If you are still in the immigration process the MAIN thing is to use a service that show's the number called to help prove a bonafide relation.

Phone cards that don't are basically worthless for such.

You want to buy a box full? :bonk:

It's not true my phone at home was prepaid when I was in the Philippines so all the time Im using Globe1 prepaid card. Whenever or whatever for at long as you can save that's important their are lots of ways to show/proof of bonafide relationship.

I bought another card from richcom.com, this was a barkada card which supposedly gives 40 minutes for manila cell. So I experimented and called home and timed it. When I connected it did say I had 40 minutes to talk but after 27 minutes my time was up!
