We are good. Lovely dovey and all. Our lovey-doveyness prolly makes other people gag. lol

I just talked to the German Telekom again - I ordered digital TV on September 24th and they still have not managed to install it. Unbelievable. Now they are sending a technician on Jan 17th. Jerks.

I have a great announcement to make:

I am going to get a driver's license this year! No more cabs! No more public transport! And I want to buy a car!

I am most likely going to start school on January 19th. I have to take 14 theoretical lessons (90 minutes), a minimum 10 regular driving lessons and a minimum of 12 special driving lessons (at night, on the autobahn etc.), all lessons with a teacher in the car plus a one day first-aid course. I am excited!

Glad your morning sickness is slowly going away. Only a few months to go! Exciting!!

Just booked my flight to Charlotte for March 21st!

Woot! It's so weird to not be booking fights for every three or four months now!

Yay! Gratz!!!!!

It's so involved to get a DL in Germany...yikes. But isn't it for a lifetime?

Ok, so 2 hour late start for school this morning. I was already up drinking coffee when my Academic Dean called. Then I had to call my department members. By then I was pretty much awake and knew that going back to sleep would be impossible. Now I have 2 hours before I have to leave and I'm sleepy. But if I go back to sleep I'll feel like ####### when I wake up. Ugh.

Whoa, DF. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?!

I guess I should go take a shower or something. Maybe I can get the boys to wake up and be ready to leave in an hour so I don't have to sit here....

Not sure myself, all I can say is I have been hating this contract. So now I am waiting for Capita to decide which contract to put me on to next, but at least it looks like it will be back in Edinburgh. I would really love to go into the Capita offices instead of off site, all I'm doing at the moment is waiting out for my interview, then I'll give notice anyway.

Well, public transport is great in Frankfurt. But waiting for a tram for 20 minutes at 11pm in the pouring rain is just not fun. :D

I am flying over end of March, end of June for Pedro's birthday and end of September for Mel's wedding and more time in Charlotte. Then Pedro is coming for Christmas again. Only a few more years hopefully. *sigh*

Hopefully I manage to get my drivers license until end of March, so I can drive Pedro's car when I am there (if he let's me lol )

Hi all. Big news AXA have gone and decided to cancel the contract so I am going back to Edinburgh.

Aww bless. Good that you can go back, so you don't have to live alone anymore and don't have to travel back and forth all the time. You do deserve a rest, the whole immigration things is tough enough already!!

Did you have a good flight back?
