Hey Booty, hope your holidays were good. Are you over the morning sickness thing yet?

Nope, not quite yet. It's getting better though. It still sneaks up on me every once in a while. I'm still waiting for the "food looks good" stage too. That still hasn't come along either. I just want to eat normal again. All I can stomach right now is chicken tenders and fries. Not a very healthy diet. My holidays were good. I hope yours were as well.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

Can you ladies help me a bit. I have never cooked beef in my life (as its a tabboo back in my country).

Husband loves it and I tried to cook yesterday. There are so many types of meat (steak, bbq, lean, not lean) I get confused. Anyways these were small square chunks of beef meat. This is how I cooked it, but it all turned out rubbery, I am not sure what I did wrong.

--put the beef in the pan, let it cook for 7-8 minutes in medium heat.

--poured in onion, tomato, salt, cumin powder, a bit of ginger and garlic. sauted everything for another 5 minutes

--poured half cup of beef stalk and one cup of water and let it simmer for around 1 and half hours.

Smell was good and if it was chicken, it would have been all good. But I don't know why that beef turned out all rubbery.

Not sure that's going to happen. I'm already wearing maternity pants. Ok, so they are still a little big on me but I def have a belly already. I knew it would be like this though since I'm having twins. My doctor told me yesterday I was going to be a big ole round ball. He thinks he's funny. Anyway, I might post some. I haven't decided yet.

I did have another u/s yesterday and it was so cool. The babies actually look like babies now. You could see their little arms and legs and everything. One of them was playing with it's umbilical cord. Now I have to wait until 2/12 for another u/s though. On the plus side, I was released from the fertility clinic because things looked so great. Yay! The 2/12 u/s is to find out the sexes so hopefully they'll cooperate on that day.

I would season the tomato+onion+spices first; set aside; then in same pan put the beef. Sounds gooooood.

Oh, morning all.

Booty --- my mom sent you luvz. For some reason she likes you.

Depends what cut of beef it was really. If it was a tough cut of meat in the first place then it would have to be cooked at a low temperature for a long time to make it tender.

Morning everyone. My house is not a quiet place today. My mom decided it would be a good idea to make our house the Christmas break daycare for our family. We have a 9 month old, a 20 month old, a 2yr old, an 8yr old, and a 11yr old, and a 12yr old. I may go crazy. They're screaming and banging and running around.

I pre-ordered the Camaro this morning :)

Hey people what show do you think I should start next? I only have 2 episodes left of Nip/Tuck. I keep looking everywhere for Damages but no one has it.

I've seen most of them but just started watching season 1 as I got it for Christmas. I LOVE Sex & The City. :D

I reckon you should watch the new Doctor Who seasons. :)
