weird about that gift situation, uh??

I don't know how to put this tactfully, so here it goes: yes, a Jane Austen action figure and doll is very nerdy  But in a cool kind of way :D

Dinner last night. Justin cooked...He's such a good cook :luv:

Saludos,

Caro

 I am a nerd, Caro, and I'm okay with it!

That table and food looks divine! How sweet!

Patrick and I took the kids to my ex's house this morning and then came home and were befuddled since we didn't have anything at all to do :) So we cooked turkey and stuff and then took a long nap! Now we're both wide awake and it's snowing again...

I'm so happy.

That sounds lovely jundp! :star:

Have you tried deep fried turkey? I thought it would be fatty but it is really not, it's like it makes the crust crispy and the inside of the turkey is juicy but not fatty. It's awesome :)

Caro

Ooooh, I love deep fried turkey. I haven't had one in years - not since I left the south.

OK, we're going to snuggle up and watch the snow/rain combo and a movie.

Have a great night you guys!

my friend's mom kept trying to feed me because I have lost too much weight

i hate when people do that. if u lost it, you were probably trying to and now u need to keep it, right?

not really .. some people loose weight when they are sick and stuff...

still i cant see how that can be such a bad thing they need to force u to gain it back, like you'll die if u don't. unless u were underweight to begin with, which was not her case, it's hardly anyone's case

Afternoon all from the freezing cold of Michigan, I arrived safe yesterday, the flight was even 45 mins early. John's mum went all out and we had turkey dinner waiting for us.

She also bought me some lovely bedding. I really love high thread count sheets, I know they cost a lot but they last for forever and feel so good. So she gave me 600 Thread count sheet set in pale blue and then bought a conforter set to match.

The iriony being I gave her a Scottish lambswool blanket. Her Daughter gave her a blanket she made, kind of like Jen's. Its a blanket kind of year.

The bad news is the drains are blocked up, so John his dad and best mate have been digging the pipes up, 3 foot of snow, then the dirt etc etc etc. Turns out we need to get the septic drained!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas
