Mel, my friend the number freak - I hope your day is over soon!

Just had to do some emergency shopping for Mom (Appenzell cheese for the cheese fondue), so I am a bit thrown back with my plan. I have an hour until I have to leave to the airport. I am dressed. I showered and washed my hair. I cleaned the livingroom. Current status: Kitchen still messy, still need to idy bedroom and change sheets.

As for German Christmas - yup Jen, that's how we roll over here. Also, Baby Jesus brings us the gifts. Mom used to put up the tree on the 24th and the living room door was locked all day until 6pm, when the church bells ring. She has a little bell that she rings (Baby Jesus rings it apparantely, yeah right) and then I was allowed to open the door.

Nowdays the door stays open all day and I don't have to wait in the kitchen. I wonder if she'll but a ribbon on Pedro and place him under the tree for me.

Basically little Ben is going to be angel and he will most likely run for presidency in 2050. Or he'll be president of the NRA.

Pedro is asleep and I could not fall asleep, so I am here. I am so happy he is here, even if he is just asleep.

I still have to wrap Christmas gifts, my least favourite Christmas activity.
