Future reference for apple pie - add about 2-3 tablespoons of flour to your apples, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg and it will soak up the excess juice leaving you with the perfect apple pie.

I had pork medallions with a Gorgonzola and chestnut sauce for dinner. It was sooo yummy.

Now I'm off to bed. Up at 5am to catch a bus to the airport and a flight back to Edinburgh, then one more day closer to my interview and going home to John. I am so looking forward being with him without interruption and also to never having to move again in my entire life.

First things first, when I get back into town I thought i might meet your crazy cousin. Does it run in the family??? :P

And surprisingly we have no photos together all individuals. But there are two fun ones of Julia taking a pic of me then me taking a pic of her at relatively the same time.

I know  what a shame... so depressing... actually i'm originally brazilian but that doesn't excuse my horrible cooking skills (you should know...;)) the worst is that the main dish was supposed to be a brazilian dish that i love and that was supposed to charm all my french guests...xinxim de galinha... poor chicken and poor guests:( the chicken was hard as a rock :( i'm telling you they should have taken the flowers back :D
