Well we'll just keep it going for now. I saw your nursery stuff in the baby thread. It's really cool. I also want one of the gliders like #1 in your examples. I'm hoping I can find one cheaper than the one I found at BRU though because it was $400. I still need to look around.

My biggest issue right now is my grandma is going to buy our cribs for us. But, she doesn't want to buy them until after the babies come. I've got to figure out some way to convince her we need them before that. First of all, Javi is not going to have time to put together two cribs after the babies come. Second of all, she's only buying the cribs. So any other furniture we want to go with them we have to buy. But, we can't do that until we find out what style/finish of cribs she buys. I don't want to be dragging two newborn babies out to hunt and purchase furniture for the nursery. I don't really think she's thought the whole thing through. She is my mom's mom so I'm going to see if my mom can persuade her to buy them earlier. Or just let us buy them and then let her pay us back.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

We have a cradle for them to sleep in until they get a little bigger. We'll keep it in our bedroom for a while. It should do just fine. My biggest issue with the whole not buying of the cribs until after they are born is that we can't buy any other furniture for the nursery until then. I just don't want to be dragging two newborns out to no telling how many furniture stores to find furniture.

I am showing. I think I look way too big for how far along I am. It's almost like I just popped one day. Everyone was commenting on how big my belly is getting yesterday. Unfortunately I think some of it is just fat instead of babies. I've been trying to eat well but I can still tell it's a little more jiggly than what I would like it to be. We just bought a treadmill this weekend so I'm hoping I can get exercising soon.

Hey Ladies - we bought our crib on Sunday. We got it at Target...it is solid cherry wood and was on sale from $249 to $199. :D My hubby will put it together this weekend. I still need to buy a mattress and we're looking for a dresser that we'll use as a changing table too.

Charity - that is so funny about showing - it took a long time for me to show, but now, oh baby!!!

if the cribs are in stock ... that's good.

what happens if the cribs are not in stock? work on grandma and ask her to be a boy scout (be prepared) in case you're early.

fwiw: dragging a pair of newborns into stores is more painful than Isa dragging me from store-to-store.

Yeah, my point exactly. She is also having my baby shower and wants to wait till May to do that. I hope beyond hope I don't have to go on bed rest but what if I do. Also, I very seriously doubt I make it 40 wks. I want to know what we still need to buy after the shower is over. I will need to get that stuff. I just want to be prepared and she's not really allowing me to do that.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!
