good morning. Charles is mad i threw away his cough syrup. but it expired 2 years ago. I gave him 2 other cold medicine that we have in here and are good, and I'll buy him another one of the yuck syrup thing tonight. Am I a bad wife?

I know he likes expired stuff, he eats bread that expired a month ago as long as it's not green or smelling bad, but 2 years ago medicine? that cannot be good.

wait a second, what is it with you females and throwing aways perfectly good medicine..my mom does it to my dad..and sanita threw all my meds. out..she said some were from the year 2000, well, still good for me./.brother charles, i am on your side...

and next, she be throwing out your underwear and socks....

You really shouldn't take medicine that is expired. For one thing, it probably doesn't even work any more so you're just taking it for no good reason. I mean, they put expiration dates on things for a reason. Now if it said, sell by that's a little different. But when it says, EXPIRES, that means it's no longer any good.

It has been a common practice for most to ignore the expiration date on their medication. The danger of using expired medication is simply undeniable.
