a tree branch fell on my car but i think the thick layer of ice covering my car protected it from any damage

if you didn't hear it ... did it make noise?

hope everything is okay ... even after the thaw

ugh the power has gone out 5 times since 10:30 last night. we live on a main road and the massive power lines go down in our driveway just looked outside and there is broken trees everywhere.

we can switch to gas heat & water heater but nothing else. i was the only one here and had no clue how to do it so i just slept with like 8 blankets

the good thing is if the line goes down in our yard, half the town has no power because there's a power station right behind our house. soooooooo... it comes back on pretty quick.

eta: we have 4 fireplaces but all the wood is covered in ice so i gave up
