Ok, I have to admit it to myself.

I, Julia Sarah, have a shopping problem. I had a ####### day at work and went shopping as soon as I got out of the office. :crying:

But then, I think maybe I should not worry too much about it.

Answer these questions:

1. Are all your other bills paid?

2. Can you afford it?

If so, ** it. Shopping is food for the soul

You're right, if you can say yes to #1 and #2, there's no reason to deny yourself.

Sometimes, I add #3, will Chris' head explode if I bring this home. If I can say yes to that one, we're gold!

Oh yes.... the guy

Bren is also a shopper, so we're cool

lucky ducky!

I like your attitude, sister!

Yes twice, that is!

*sigh*

I still get a shopping hang over though. But I always buy stuff I really use and like too. It's not that I buy it and throw it in the corner.

A fukc it, it was well worth it!! And I didn't take a taxi home and took *gasp* public transport!

eta: Hey Jodes! I got The Castle on DVD as a b-day gift today.

I seriously caught myself thinking that, when I left the store with heavy bags. I thought - mhh subway station is actually closer than the taxi line...and if I take the train, I save money! Then I laughed at my own stupidity.

And I didn't even buy a train ticket! More savings!! lol

I did, for my own sake and because I was worried I'd lose my job for about 10 days, create this kick a$$ excel sheet to get in control over my expenses. And I did fill in all the things I bought until the minute I was told, I could keep my job. Well, ok, that's a lie. I stuck to it for two days and then ordered stuff online.

I might still continue and show it to my therapist and see what she has to say. But since she is a little bit like me, she'd be like - yeah, that purse was cool, I would have gotten that too!

And I saved again last night, I shopped at amazon and had stuff worth 150 bucks in my basket and then Pedro told me off and I reduced it to 90!! Yay me! I am eventually getting there.

I can take my time, my job is good for now. :innocent:

Enough about me, let's talk about YOU for a second. What was the last thing you guys purchased?
