The timeline... (Frankfurt) for the kids visas

10/22/2007 Filed I-130 x 2 in person + paid 710 USD (355 each )

10/22/2007 Filed DS-230 part 1 x 2

10/22/2007 Received the document checklist and FRN (case) numbers

12/18/2007 I-130 petition approved, but I didn't know. I was away at the time, didn't get confirmation letters til I got back from the states.

12/20/2007 Notice of Approval arrives in tha mail. According to the date received stamp on back of envelope at my post box.

Will now wait til hubby is back from Iraq to fax in checklist readiness, even though, I have been ready since day of lodging I-130's. all except medical.

02/18/2008 Faxed the "checklist" back to the consulate.

02/25/2008 Medicals completed.

02/25/2008 Appt letters in mail for appt on March 7th. Cant go due to prior military commitments. Emailed consulate and received an amended appt date of March 12th 2008.

03/12/2008 Visa interview - APPROVED x 2

03/27/2008 Visa's finally generated. I emailed the consulate. they apologised for the delay. They forgot to issue the visas after approval.

03/31/2008 Received visas

04/26/2008 Flying out of Frankfurt to next duty station on orders.

Morning to all!!

Lenita, I watched the stoooopid soap last night - whata buncha of caca, hermanita!

GAWD, Juan drove me crazy! I think he said "Nina Sofia" at least 20 times!! Grrrrr!

I know :girlwerewolf2xn: one more Nina Sofia and I would have killed myself :lol:

I love what Sofia said to Gabriela about Rrrroot - it was an "On your face" moment. I think Gabriela knows what sofia was trying to say. When she finds out about what those two are doing, she's going kill them for sure. I'm definitely watching it tonight. :devil:

I like the dress one of the hermanas Lelas was wearing, Jimena. She was wearing a light green dress with a pink reboso. I would love to find a dress like that. But she can keep the reboso, I don't want that.

1. Is it necessary to have the longest, glitteriest, hugest, annoyingest signature? Really? I don't need to see 5492572490290 pictures that glitter and glow of you, your SO, your cat, your car, your dog, your house, your freaking shoe...whatever. Why put that many photos in your sig? This is why I have to turn off freaking signatures. But if you are not signed in....well then you get to see them all.

2. Why is it necessary to continue to quote the LONGEST POST IN THE UNIVERSE every time you want to respond to it? Do people not know how to edit their quote? Or refer to a post without POSTING THE ENTIRE FREAKING THING?!?!?!

3. Sorry. Not feeling good.

It is against TOS to make a comment here regarding what someone posted on another VJ forum?? Because I'm really perturbed by it. :angry:

and yes, it is against TOS - report his/her azz.

No, I want to just say that I read somewhere (won't say where) :whistle: someone said it is cheaper to have her foreign husband now than it was her previous boyfriend. If that isn't tacky then I don't know what is. :huh:

All I have to say is... THANK YOU!

Numbers one and two have been pissing me off for a long, long time. The worst of the two is the signature issue. I've even resorted to turning signatures off.
