you two crack me up! nessa I qould have the same argument as you :P

I'm so tired from just laying around all day doing not much. I watched National Treasure 2 with my 12yr old cousin and then did some laundry and filled up both dishwashers. There's still so many dishes and I'm seriously thinking about running the dishwasher that's in the outdoor kitchen.

I'm going to start watching Lost again...I may nap first though hmmmm

So I was just watching the news and am saddened about the numbers of people who are stranded because of this weather. The Greyhound buses couldn't make it through Seattle, so they literally just left people at the station. People are stuck at the airport and only 20 flights left Seatac yesterday. Twenty....all the hotels are full and people are just stuck. It hurts my heart to see it. For the most part people are pretty good natured. It's not as if they can do anything about it, but many of them are in transit so it's not as though they can just go home. The vendors in the airport are actually running out of supplies, plus who can afford to buy three days' worth of food for their family in an airport. Those prices are astronomical.

I wish I could go down there with a giant box of cookies and granola bars and water bottles and chocolate milk (for the kids) and just hand stuff out to people. Seriously, if my freaking car would make it there, I'd do it.

my brother and his wife and my nephew are headed to Seatac.. they leave for Seattle tonight and their flight is tomorrow....

Man I hope they make it too Marilyn. If they get stuck, let me know and I'll go take them cookies :)

Really, I just feel like I want to do something for those people. I'm b!tching about having to walk everywhere but at least I'm not stuck in an airport or a bus station with no way to get home or go where I'm trying.

she killed someone?

I'm on episode 2 or 3 of season 2.

I'm where they blow up the hatch with the dynamite and Kate gets pulled down, Locke and Jack go to find her, and then they show Sawyer and the black guy on what's left of the raft and Sawyer loses the bullets and there's a shark in the water or something

I think that's all the stuff that happened recently.

They still have loads of calories. Normally I rip half the bread out of the "loaf" because it's just so huge. I can't eat that much bread.

You'll just have to wait and see. But I do remember that the first few episodes of Season 2 were absolutely brilliant.

And there's Desmond, of course. ;)

i read about that and it depends on how long the food is cooked. that's why i used liquor to cook turkey, cuz then there's really no alcohol, but haven't used to cook anything else. for fondue i don't think it evaporates enough. at least the kind of fondue my dad used to make that was amazing, u could totally taste the wine. very dry white wine
