It is Matilda's brithday. He turns I think 41. And looks 80.

Just having kidney beans and saffron rice and I dissolved a little bit of mole poblano paste and poured it on top yum yum

All right I am trying not to panic. Somehow today I lost my police certificates.(Aus & UK) I was photocopying everything so I would have originals and duplicates When I got home to sort it all out I couldn't find them, I checked everywhere. Then I retraced my steps, street by street, store by store. I went back to the shop where I photocopied them. They tried to help me look, even going through the bins but they hadn't seen them and we couldn't find them.

So now I have run around town getting a Banker's draft in AUD and downloading new apps and then going back to the photocopying store, getting ID re-certified, gathering documentation and sending it off.

For the first time I am contemplating not wanting my interview date. This is going to take at least 4 weeks AT BEST. I am so sad, and I feel sick.

Life has not been on my side lately.

You are suppose to. I had it all prepared, happily checking all the boxes on the checklist which came in Pkt3 and sent it off, knowing I had, had my medical and had all the requirements, all that was left to do was make duplicates.

after reading that original statement above again, is it possible that your paperwork got mixed up with someone elses?

does this store have your contact info in case they find it or someone returns the paperwork?

In my experience you should just be able to phone the helpline number for the UK police certificates and they'll just send you a copy...I had to do it for mine when it got lost in the post.

With regards to your interview, if you don't have the certs they will issue you your visa pending you sending them in (as long as everything else is acceptable, obviously!). It only causes a couple of weeks delay at most, so try not to worry too much!
