One thing I despise is talking to parents. I mean, really. Our students are supposed to be freaking adults, yet you get the phone call from the ones we call "helicopter parents" that b1tch about why their kids (who are say, 20) didn't get into so and so class, demanding attention. Like ####### --- your child is a university student --- ask HIM/HER to fvcking call. They are annoying as ####### on your new shoes.

some people hate to call places. i know a lot of people like that. i got into an argument with someone once because they wouldn't call somewhere. people are weird.

I know- but having your parents call the University for you?????? Talk about embarrassing. Our Department Chair simply does not take their calls at all. Deals only with students. So do I; but since the junkie Matilda is not around, I got one on the phone. Then he has the b@lls to ask me to email him some info RIGHT AWAY. Fvcker. I shall email him when I freaking feel like it.

a friend of mine works in financial aid office at my uni and she said she has more parents than students calling her. she gets really annoyed. sometimes i'll walk in to talk to her and she'll just roll her eyes and mouth "parent" and then roll her eyes again

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
