AXA cancelled the contract in Coventry, and there is no position available for me to fill until the last week of April, and they aren't willing to pay me to twiddle my fingers in the meantime. My boss has emailed me that contract but hopefully I won't be here then. I should have my interview in the next four weeks, so then I will just fly home to my honey.

I just got the bad news, the slightly positive side is they are paying me out 4 weeks notice.

Middle of nowhere, we must be close, sounds the same as where I 'll be moving to now, though 12 weeks sounds perfect or the EAD I intend to get at JFK. :)

I just got retrenched / laid off.

know how to drive a riding mower? cut down trees? kick coyotes out of the way?

Don't know about the coyote part but I can ride a mower and I own my own chainsaw.
