Travelling to the US under Visa Waiver while K1 Process Ongoing

Hello,

I asked this question on somebody elses thread but though I'd start a new topic as this might be easier. I have spent about 154 days in the US in 2008 under the visa waiver program (came back for 2 weeks in between) and we got engaged in November. I am back in Scotland now and my girlfriend is getting ready to send off the K1 package on Monday. We were planning to get married on 26th June 2009 but this doesn't seem realistic having read a lot on this very helpful forum. Can anyone tell me whether or not I am able to still travel to the US to visit my Fiancee while the K1 process is underway and how long can I stay for in total over 2009? Obviously I don't want to affect the K1 process but I've only been back 1 day and missing her already!!!

Any help would be much appreciated.

Clark

Looks like I made the newbie mistake of asking the most common question which is already answered on the website!!! I have had an answer on this on another thread, apologies for the time-wasting!!!!!

All I will say is good luck! When are you planning to go back?? I can't see that your K1 will be processed before June - sorry to be harsh.

Thanks, it's ok, we were just shocked that they were processing K1 visas from March 2007, it really does seem ridiculous but we are coming to terms with it now I suppose. I was planning on going back in March, was hoping to stay for a couple of months at least. I was reading the stuff about needing to take documentation to show intent to return to the UK but this will be a problem for me as I do not technically have a job just now as I work online for myself , just finished college in Jun 08 and I stay at my Dad's house in the UK.

Did you say you were refused entry before?
