Calling to check on AOS Status.... April filer

Our case was transfered to CSC at the end of May or early June... we still have never heard anything since then... is there anybody else out there who's been waiting this long???

I called the main service line and they say don't call before 180 days to ask any questions... well 180 days was 2 weeks ago.. so I am trying to remember how to get through to the CSC service center, since they will probably be able to look up easier than the main one... does anyone remember how to get through to a representative??

I don't think there are many April filers left who haven't had something done??

08/10/2007 - NOA2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10/17/2007 - INTERVIEW (PUT IN AP)

02/18/2008 - VISA ARRIVED IN MAIL!!

02/28/2008 - Arrives in the U.S.A!!!

03/15/2008 - Wedding Day!!

04/10/2008 - AOS Package Mailed (almost 1 year to the date later)

04/11/2008 - Received in Chicago

04/17/2008 - Check cashed

04/19/2008 - 3 NOAs received!

05/09/2008 - Biometrics Appt in SATX

05/14/2008 - Case transfered to CSC

06/11/2008 - EAD & AP Approved CRIS email

06/17/2008 - AP received in mail

06/21/2008 - EAD received in mail

01/21/2009 - FINALLY AOS APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!

Contact your congressperson's/senator's office and ask them to launch an investigation if you still havn't been able to get through to the CSC.

What I do is call, press 1, then 2, then when they ask if you don't remember your case number you follow the prompts and are connected. You should be able to get a live person that way.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

We are an April filer and still waiting also. We have not heard anything either.

Green Card Arrived: August 10, 2009

I-751: Lifting of Conditions

August of 2011

May 26, 2011 Mailed 1-751 to VSC

May 31, 2011 NOA1

We finally were Approved!!! I called 2 weeks ago and finally had to pretend like I was changing our address to speak to an actual person.. once I did, she looked up our case and said that yep, its been over 6 months (really!)... so she opened up an inquiry on our case, and the San Antonio office emailed us the next day saying it was normal processing still.. whatever..., but perhaps the touch and all the prayers made them open our file at least... and we got the approval email today... !!! Here's wishing everyone the best of luck!

May 9, 2011 - October 4, 2011 (approval on September 28th)

Naturalization

July 19, 2014 - N400 packet sent out

July 21, 2014 - N400 packet delivered

July 23, 2014 - received email/text that I-797 is issued

July 26, 2014 - received I-797 in mail

August 11, 2014 - received the Biometrics notification

August 14, 2014 - biometrics walk-in (original date August 20)

August 18, 2014 - in line for interview scheduling

September 9, 2014 - yellow letter is received (letter is issued September 3)

November 3, 2014 - interview notice is issued (email/text alert)

November 10, 2014 - interview notice received with the interview date of December 11, 2014.

November 10, 2014 - request to reschedule mailed out

December 5, 2014 - interview notice is sent out (email/text alert)

December 11, 2014 - received an interview letter in mail

January 10, 2015 - interview on Saturday at 7am

January 26, 2015 - sent the requested documentation

February 26, 2015 - oath letter is issued (email/text alert)

March 2, 2015 - oath letter is received

March 18, 2015 - oath at 8am
