I sure out of topic this time But...................

I am so desperate and feeling so ugly, the feeling of losing confidence that i'm proud to have.Back in the Philippines,i used to get pimple or acne once every

month due to my monthly visit but only 1 or 2 and they vanished in just a lil bit of 2 or 3days.Am not so sure why all of a sudden it appears on my face and i been suffering

from it for a lil bit over of two weeks.I tried Pro-Active but it seems to get worse,so i quit and start using the Maxipeel i regulary use in the Philippines.I happened to see at the

Filipino store iwhere i usually shop for Fil goodies. Why the breakout?is there anyone here suffered same thing as me?I'm dying to get rid of this red spots on my face and chin

and forehead.I can't even look at the people at the groceries or anywhere i go,i am embarrased.Any recommendation on what to do?Thanks

My shop sells pearl cream if you are interested in that! It is the best thing for pimples, I know they have in Manila so maybe you tried it. Anyway, you can buy it from my shop and I mail it to you if you like.

I had pimples right after my wedding ( 3 months) after I got here. Maybe it because of the change in Environment. Anyways, tried many Over the counter until I decided to see a dermatologist after 2 weeks until now no pimples.

Hi ,

Just like you i suffered acne since i came here. I do not know exactly what the causes of my acne...but i have a feeling that it is maybe of the foods that i ate( fatty foods) I tried different creams like clearasil, benzoyl peroxide, i even tried also tea tree oil for acne but it did not work. So my hubby decided to see me a doctor , he do not like seeing me having big red spots down on my face.

My doctor give me a cream, differin (adapalene gel) and anti-biotic for 10 days. Thanks God... gradually my red spots is gone.

I'm in the same situation as yours. I don't have pimples back in PH, just every now and then. I'm not used to having blemishes on my face but since I got here I got these small red dots on my forehead and temples and its been there til now.

My Filipino Dr here gave me some cream but it didn't work. I'm just experimenting now. I'm just using the Neutrogena Anti Acne Facial Scrub for wash and Oil-Free Moisture for moisturizer. The blemishes seems to be fading but its still there. I'll see if this will work, if not, I'll definitely see a Dermatologist. :(

Try Aveeno products, they are really good. I am now using the Aveeno Skin Brightening Daily Scrub for my face and daily moisturizers. . so far I don't have the problems I used to have the first few months when I arrived here. I tried Pro-Active too, it was good for the first few months but I noticed that my pimples worsened after awhile.

Hi there girl!

How long are you using your PRO ACTIVE? Usually, pro- active it will make all your pimples comes out for the first time you use it....then it will start clearing up.

As for me Neutrogena works for me. This is how i treat my Acne:

NIGHT.. try to clean your face with

1.) DEEP CLEANSING ACNE WASH

2.) TONER, NIGHT MOISTURIZER

3.) ACNE Treatment with benzoyl

4.) TWICE a week use a Face Mask

DAY:

1.) FOAM WASH OR DEEP CLEANSING ACNE WASH

2.) MOISTURIZER WITH SPF15

3.) ACNE TREATMENT WITH BENZOYL....( if excessive dryness occured use this only at night).

I hope this will help you. I used to have the same problem and i know how it feels. When i was in highschool all my friends are jealous about my skin because i dont have any single breakout on my face but when i start college my face with full of acne became my problem. I tried everything but nothing works, until i start eating the right diet and Neutrogena works for me.

I know my breakouts causes me from over stressed when i used to study nursing. Usually PIMPLES from you CHIN are caused by Stress and Pimples on the cheek is lack of vegetables, so make sure eat vegetables and everywhere you go take water with you to hydrate your self and Sleep too ;).

As much as possible dont wear make up yet while treating your Acne and when your acne gets better....try BEAR MINERALS. Its for sensitive skin and you can buy them at SEPHORA.

If you have any questions just drop by;). Hope this will help you.

Hi there, the moment you try products you have to know first what type of skin do you have. If your oily skin don't get products for dry skin instead get products for oily skin. With that to say, vice versa. Use scrub or mask just twice or 3x a week. Do not use it everyday. Use the cleanser everyday twice a day or more if you want but just to cleanse the face. Don't overstay it in your face. Wash it with luke warm water. Use toner after cleansing then moisturize your face. I do that ritual day and night. Except that during the day I put on some foundation after the moisturizer especially if I am bound to go outside. A sealant foundation but you can omit that if you are not use of putting on one.

I've always love Mary Kay products. It's up to you what product you want but whatever it is I hope you will try that ritual. I got that info from a seminar with the "face expert" LOL:)
