I just found out i got approveddd. So excited!!!

NOA1 on 5/21

Transfer to CSC on 11/6

Approval 12/18

I have a question for AOS. I recently stopped working because I am switching full time for the MBA degree. Can I complete the AOS based on assets alone or will I need to show continuous income? (70K in assets)

Another issue is the timing of the AOS because it will be the end of the year/beginning of 2009, will i need to wait until the 2008 tax return is filed?

Please help!!!

I-30 JOURNEY

Can't help with AOS (although I don't think you need to wait for 2008 taxes to be filed) but I am sure someone will be along to give you some info. Best of luck at NVC.

congrats!!

i would suggest that you put your AOS in before the end of the year. this way you have a chance of just getting it approved. if you wait on it and let january swing by, you will most definately have to send in 2008 returns and its not like you will be able to file a return right away as it takes time for W2s to show up and all that #######. so submit AOS ASAP to avoid delays at NVC. good luck!

Hi there,

i better suggest to file your AOS now and not wait till next year.. if you have all the latest/recent paper/docs so why wait tommorrow when you can do it today?? :thumbs:

I am even struggling here for my AOS and I am hoping that my husband will file it before my visa expires 06 jan 2006.. lots of reason i have a doubt he will file it!! :crying:

I believe you need to show continuous on top of yur assets. You may need to file a co-sponser if you are not working.

I believe you need to show continuous income on top of your assets. You may need to file a co-sponser if you are not working.
