Well, well, well

Today me and my hubby went to an outlet mall to make some good christmas shopping...

We got a lot of good stuff! or we thought we did....

Well, anyway, we stopped by one of those dicounted perfume places to get him something. The lady helping us was really nice. She suggested us this perfume. It is called "Invincible". I gotta admit it smells really good so we went for it without asking the price.... Now, imagine our faces when we saw the check and $104 on it  Well, we talked and deceided that we really like how it smells and it is probably expensive. Also it is Christmas time so we deceided to keep it.

Well, when we came home I deceided to check some of those big perfume stores online just to make sure. Now, imagine my face againe when I found it online for under $20 in all sources (5 of them, thats all I found online) :o:wacko: Wow!!!!!

I really hope it was an honest mistake. We are paying them another visit tomorrow.

Hope everyone will have a better Christmas shopping experience then us!

One thing to check: were both products "eau de parfum", or was the cheaper version "eau de toilette"? The former is usually more expensive.

Indeed!! Totally agree with the above.

If you feel ripped off, try to return the item, although that may prove to be an uphill battle.

Either way, hope your holidays are good overall!

Same exact "eau de toilette" on the one we purchased and the ones I found online.

Thank you for the note!

I agree. Take it back to the merchant. Unless they have a no-refund policy clearly posted, they are required to take it back. If they put up a stink - if the purchase was made by credit card, call up your bank and file a dispute claim. Most credit card purchases are protected against fraud and in this case, I'd say it should be considered fraud.

Yup. Do a search to tell the difference.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Ooh, that's a good thing to check, too. Or if it's the "inspired by...." kind of knockoffs. $104 sounds a little high for an eau de toilette to me, but the price disparity is making me think something else is the real explanation.

In any case, you should be able to return it.
