Edit: thats suppose to say "When the Economy sucks" lol

So due to our car and oven breaking down, our dog needing to go the vet, and dental bills, my husband and I had to go into our "Christmas Fund" and pretty much milked it dry. So we decided not to get a Christmas tree this year, but the house just seemed so empty without one! So I went to the dollar store today and bought a whole bunch of poster board and made this concoction! lol

It's no $100 tree, but I like it lol

one year I really didn't have a lot of money so I took the most colourful flyer paper and cut them into strips and made paper chains and hung them all over my apartment..

Its beautiful!! I feel for you....my car quite on the way to work a few days ago, $800 later I am driving it. Then the water heater went, $400 later...thank goddness for the Christmas Bonus at work $600 to help, and my parents who sent $$ as well. Thank goddness my sweetie is coming to see me for the holidays.

Its almost like things are suppose to ####### out in December. Everyone I know has had to shell out money on plumbing, cars and the like and have had to sacrifice Christmas Money cause of it.

At least mine will be painless to take down and no pines all over the floor lol.
