USCIS Online Case Status

I did something really stupid.

When I changed my password for the USICS online case status site (as they require after 90 days) I forgot to write it down and then promptly forgot it. When I logged on to retrieve it, my husband (who originally set up our account) realized he had forgotten the answer to the security question.

I emailed USCIS through their feedback address - no response. The site states that you cannot set up duplicate accounts & if you do they will delete it. So now I can only check the case by number but cannot see if there have been any touches .

Has anyone else been as stupid as me or have any suggestions? I am lost not being able to check for touches.

Thanks - I might try that. I'm hoping that if it doesn't work they would just deny the new attempt and at least I could still check the status - if not touches.

I tried and was rejected because the email is already registered to our case number

Oh well - I will just have to wait for email updates. I guess that saves me from checking every day for changes - was getting a bit obsessed with that.

Why don't you try to use diffferent email add? IMHO

To change your password, select the "Forgot Your User ID or Password?" link from the login screen.

Hi,

Now put in yor USERID and then your email address. This time, it will prompt you with Secret Questions and should let you in.

After that it simply prompts you to change the password. No need remembering your old one.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

Problem is my husband forgot the answer to the security question so I cannot access the account to reset the password. So I think I will just have to be happy with checking the status but not touches.
