This season can bring out the best and the worst. Might I suggest, rather than curling into bed for 10 days to pass this season, head out to a local shelter or soup kitchen and put in some volunteer hours. I'm serious, if you're going to be alone there is no better way to pass the time and pick up your spirit than doing something good for someone you don't know.

Or, you can always buy 6 boxes of chocolates, some really sad movies and buy a 6 disc DVD player so you don't have to get out of bed for several hours in a row.

PS: Take the phone off the hook.

Listen we all feel that way from time to time.

It is not easy and it is such a long and draining process.

You can do it, dont give up hope for what you want. Christmas is not about getting presents, such as

material things (although it is great to open something and have someone think of you) but GOD will

provide you with what you need if you believe....TIS THE SEASON

(F) por vous

btw... my husband just got here a little over a month ago and honestly, sometimes I would

love to have sometime alone.

A Beautiful idea. Today we are donating clothes.

But no on the movies... we'll be playing Wii Fit instead for the most part.

Oh and my South American will see skis for the first time in a couple of weeks. Much fun to be had.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

It's not about presents for me either, but it would be "a part of him" so I have at least the feeling of christmas together. I know its not a big deal to him, but I guess i'm just an attention #######. since we're so far away from each other i'd love to have some extra attention from him. but money doesn't grow on trees. and there's tons of family stuff for him to do. i just have to get used to it i guess..

If you want to talk you can PM me whenever. I've done the seperation thing twice, the second time with our daughter. I know, like many of us, how awful it can be. (F)

I didn't say it was a good idea just an idea. :P

But you're right, that would be 6 months that would pass quickly trying to dump off the extra poundage.

Wii Fit is a much healthier alternative.

And skiing for the first time is going to be pretty amazing. Take lots of pictures cause those will be priceless in a few years. :)

^ oooh good one.

that movie makes everything seem possible.

Yes! I watched it the other day for only the second time. It brought teensey weensey tears to my eyes several times. I then penned this to make myself feel normal (cynical) again:
