Look Charles, I can see you're really upset about this. I honestly think you ought to sit down calmly, take a stress pill, and think things over.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Seattle's getting it too. Here's my driveway and the street out front:

same here, and it's crazy how unprepared the city is. I can't make it into work today and probably won't be able to tomorrow either

This is what it looks like from my living room:

Wow, kaffy, do you live on the Eastside?

We're off from school again...yesterday there was NO snow so I was perplexed. It's still snowing now and not showing signs of stopping! It took P 2 hours and 45 minutes to get from our house in Burien to Expeditors on 3rd and Madison by bus this morning!

Yep, I'm in Kirkland. I only live 5 miles from work but I don't want to risk it. 405 has been horrible all morning and all the back roads are hills so I don't want to risk it. I hate that I'm missing work though :bonk:

Pretty big difference to what it was a month ago..

I lived in Vegas for a while and I just cannot believe what it would look like with snow on the ground. They freak out every time it rains so I'm sure they're doing it now with all that snow.

It's crazy for sure. Don't risk it. I know it sucks to miss work, but have you seen all the accidents on the news? Hell, even the buses are sliding. At least it appears that people are being kind and helpful to each other. P got to work (his first day at this job!) and they said "let's do the new hire paperwork, insurance, etc and then go home!" He'll spend more time on buses than he did at work today

Stay safe!

This is a manifestation of weather fluctuations. I am not ready to blame it on wacky climate just yet although one of the central theories of artificial climate change deals with destabilized weather patterns over time as we can see over the last decade. Like I used to remind some in the past- you can't argue weather is climate due to the differences in time scale.

More like a destabilization of some peoples brains!

Not sure what that means, but congrats on the 10 year GC.
