Oh dear... I feel like I have to turn this computer off and stop reading the VJ postings!!

I feel such guilt right now....Although I am so very thrilled for everyone getting interviews, visas and other good news..... the last two days I feel such guilt over my own selfishness of wanting some news... I am beginning to feel so depressed... I have ALWAYS been a person putting other people first and making everyone happy I feel such guilt and depression for thinking.... When is my turn? Sorry to whinne here but my hubby who is always there for support and uplift is working and right now I have such desperate feelings of needing someone to talk to... I feel like I need to turn this computer off and keep busy with other things and stop torturing myself.. And then.... I say no this site has been such a wonderful support to everyone... just take breath girl, be patient, be happy for everyone and keep the faith that our time will come. I really dont know what is the matter with me today... I have gotten accustomed to this up and down roller coaster for the past 9 months... but the last two days it has hit me like a brick wall... please any suggestions?? Guess the ole saying.... I just need a friend right now... is all that comes to mind.. I cannot even talk to my family because they really have no clue just how involved all this immigration stuff is.. Ok I reallly have to stop now!!! (bawling) Might as well just go into work early today and try to keep busy... I thank everyone for being there for me even if it is just to read this... Atleast someone reading it makes me feel like someone is listening....

Thank you

We are all entitiled to our ups and downs.......so dont feel guilty....its too damm hard to be strong all of the time. And it is much healthier not to be.......it has to come out somewhere. This is probably one of the hardest journeys any of us have to travel. Hang in there....we are all here (F)(F)

My dear Friend (F)

The only one thing I am sure of that I do feel the same feelings right now and as you mentioned you can't talk about it to your family because they don't understand the whole Visa process..

I feel bored everyday and waiting impatiently for anything to happen esp. My interview day ...I wanna feel like I am married woman that has her husband with her like normal people !!!..

and the only moments I realize my husband is American is when I find him not around me and I have to deal with Visa ####### and when people in my country asks and wonders how come and Egyptian female marry American man!..Traditions!!! lol

All the feelings you have now we all with no exceptions feel it ...and we are here whenever you feel low ..because we have all this feelings and it's really nice to have this website because whenever I post my feelings I can see people understand how I Feel because they are simply passing of the same things I am passing...and whenever you to alk to them they know how do you feel ..People in Visa journey can undertsnad more then my best friends because my friends here are having the same feelings..

Try to look at the bright side that it may has been 8 months bu now it's going to be oo little left ..

and I really wish you will be with your husband soon ..Best wishes and Good luck (L)

Salwa

As Lorelle said it is does has it ups and downs.

I try and call my wife at least everyday if only for a few mins just to tell we love and miss each other deeply, and to hear how our days are going (L)

As every member here who is trying to be reunited with their loved one we all understand. True, some are taking a little longer than others and we can only give support and encouragement.

I'll tell you a few weeks ago I was at this other forum (asawa) and someone had posted a link to a site. I had clicked on it and there were these members posting songs to clips they had made. I clicked on one of the songs and it was the one where I had remembered my wife always singing while I had visited her last October. I lost it. Talk about not expecting something like that. :crying:

One day you will be together ;)

There's nothing wrong with turning the computer off and walking away. In fact, that's probably a very healthy thing to do. If you're finding yourself obsessing too much over this, you need to get out and enjoy some sunshine. Then, come back and see if there are any updates, but don't spend too long here. Turn it off again and don't come back until tomorrow, or even the next day. I don't think anyone who comes to this site would be offended if you took some time off for real life.
