Oh dear... I feel like I have to turn this computer off and stop reading the VJ postings!!

I feel such guilt right now....Although I am so very thrilled for everyone getting interviews, visas and other good news..... the last two days I feel such guilt over my own selfishness of wanting some news... I am beginning to feel so depressed... I have ALWAYS been a person putting other people first and making everyone happy I feel such guilt and depression for thinking.... When is my turn? Sorry to whinne here but my hubby who is always there for support and uplift is working and right now I have such desperate feelings of needing someone to talk to... I feel like I need to turn this computer off and keep busy with other things and stop torturing myself.. And then.... I say no this site has been such a wonderful support to everyone... just take breath girl, be patient, be happy for everyone and keep the faith that our time will come. I really dont know what is the matter with me today... I have gotten accustomed to this up and down roller coaster for the past 9 months... but the last two days it has hit me like a brick wall... please any suggestions?? Guess the ole saying.... I just need a friend right now... is all that comes to mind.. I cannot even talk to my family because they really have no clue just how involved all this immigration stuff is.. Ok I reallly have to stop now!!! (bawling) Might as well just go into work early today and try to keep busy... I thank everyone for being there for me even if it is just to read this... Atleast someone reading it makes me feel like someone is listening....

Thank you

Oh I know EXACTLY how you feel. For months and months I would get sooooooo jealous when people had their 130s approved (ours took 6 damn months), had their cases complete, and had their interviews. All I can say is it WILL happen for you. And just think, if you live to be 90, this wait will seem like nothing! ;)

While I went through London, I also know the feeling, it can be really upsetting to see people who started the process before you get an interview and approval before you. But hang on in there, before you know it your husband will be with you again. *hugs*

I completely understand. I think all of us do. I was doing okay until my hubby came to visit in April. But, ever since he left and now these delays, I have been, what could be described as, moody! I think I'm driving my roommate mad! Sometimes lately, I go home from work and get straight into bed because I'm sick of talking about it and because I don't want to stare at these numbers on the computer or hear these matrix recordings. I would rather just fill my head full of bad primetime TV. I know this is only temporary. I don't really feel weird about things here on VJ, but when my roommate starts talking about how much she misses her boyfriend, whom she sees every weekend, it sends a cold chill of anger down my spine.

You are going to get through this! Sometimes you just have to feel what you feel!

I understand how you feel. Our I-130 went through CSC, and it was really hard when petitions from Vermont were getting approved while CSC was months behind.

Right now, what is helping me is knowing that the people in front of me are getting interviews in Montreal. I figured as long as they keep moving, I will have my turn, too, at some point. (Have not gotten a case complete yet for CR-1 but my K-3 DS-230 and checklist was submitted last month).

And yes, I find it really hard to talk to other people, too. Just the other day, I was talking to a friend and she told me her boyfriend's friend went to the US and got married last year (around May). They didn't apply for K-1 or anything. Of course my friend doesn't know exacty what that couple did. But I'm guessing she went down, got married and then applied to adjust status. The annoying part is that I feel like my friend has this tone in her voice - maybe I'm imagining it - like, I did it all wrong. She said that this girl can now work and they're done with all these visa application. I think it's really hard to talk to people who have not gone through what we're going through right now.

I don't think there will be a person on this site who does not understand and sympathise with you, we have all been there at some stage or another. You will get through this and if you think it will help by staying away for a while, do that, I did , but missed VJ ;)
