If you post in English you will get better replys! My wife was late registered also but she took a lot of evidence showing she was who her BC said she was. Passed the interview with no problems.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

I was also a late registered human being..lol but never had a problem with my interview. If you don't have hospital records get a copy of your late registration at your local Civil Registrar's Office. Get a certification from your barangay chairman who knows your family well that you are a resident and was born in that area.Provide old identifications such as Voter's Id, Postal Id, police Clearance, school records. Even if you are registered late as long as it is already recorded in NSO as late registered still you should have no problem.

.Never had a problem at all even in my AOS and my son's CRBA. Good luck.

i think the consul's point asking u about ur late registered BC because u were registered 8 years ago. that would be a BIG question to them why u r registered very late. i understand that bec. before, some small towns in PI u can go to ur first grade without asking ur BC. but that was a long time ago, now u can't enroll without ur BC but, i was also wondering why u just registered last 2002?

that is why she ask ur school records for them to know f u didn't used any (or changing names) identity. they are very suspicious but that is normal. just provide the documents they asked 2 u.

goodluck!

I am late registered also, I registered myself last july 2007. Why because, I am illigitimate child of my mother..MY mother has no enough knowledge that birthcertificate is very important and she doesnt know it will affect me when i grew up. I used my father surname since birth, coz he wants me to used it.But when I was 5 years old, my parents were separated and my mom and 3 among siblings took care of me..When I was a teenager I asked my mom to register me coz its really important but my problem that time was the rules that they implemented that if the parents are not married, the child cannot use his/her father surname,,so i was crying coz for me its really disaster. Then last 2004 our president implement the rules again that we can used fathers surname if they are not married..so Last 2007 I went to Pasay Civil REgister and I registered myself,,They interviewed me and I answer them what happened in my past(you should be honest to your answer) and then I brought some documents that proof that I used my father's surname since birth...my school records that is really important..

And then they passed me,,they dont ask money for me or any fee.

About your problem..I think before you go to us interview, you should ask or research first so you know what will answer to them. If they ask you about being late registerd..Im not yet interviewed in us embassy but when it happen to me in the future..I'll make sure that I bring all my proof. So if they will ask me, I am ready and will not make any conflict...
