You should not have introduced this to me

did you try yet?

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Well,

I have introduced myself with this email where I wanted to complain about my k3 online case status which says my receipt no. is not correct. A week passed, no upgrade for the system. There was a auto reply which was-

"Thank you for your comments on USCIS.gov. Due to the large number of messages we receive, we cannot reply to every message beyond this automated acknowledgement and you should not expect an individual reply. Under the Privacy Act, we cannot provide any information about a pending application or petition for benefits, or answer any case-specific questions."

He he he........Due to the large number of messages we receive, we cannot reply to every message beyond this automated acknowledgement and you should not expect an individual reply....

What do they work actually?

Ya, they probably have some worker who scans the emails looking for potential lawsuit exposure, otherwise auto response generated and DELETE.

I was expecting exactly what Sonia posted...figures!

See? Now why do they even bother with this stuff?

Just don't put up emails. Don't put up a processing time guidelines. Don't do things you don't plan to follow up on!

Few months ago, many of us FEB/MAR filers tried emailing USCIS and ombudsman and whatever... I believe one of the e-mail addresses that we sent our complaints to was this one on the topic's name. Most of us only received the same automated reply. A few of us got an individual reply but with not much info to add... But I think it is always worth to try anything we can! If you guys want to do it! DO IT! At least you're not sitting and waiting without trying to speed things up a little.

Maybe you're luckier than I was at that time!

;)
