Why can't I upload my small photos??

I am trying to upload some photos that I have reduced well below the maximum 1,024 kb. I get this message: "The height and or width of the uploaded picture is more than that allowed by the gallery config". But as I said, they are small files. :help:

The file dimensions (ex: 800x600) need to be smaller. On a side note I may upgrade the gallery to allow larger images dimensions to be uploaded and automatically resized in the future.
