Hey there, I have been searching here to see if there is any previous post about this question, and there is none. So, here is my question,

I just returned my Packet 3 to the Embassy with JUST the form of DS 230 Part 1. And then I emailed the consulate requesting for an interview date as I know that I won't be able to have a medical appointment without having the exact interview date (Packet 4). However, the reply from the consulate was just asking me to read the instruction again, and that I were required to return the checklist to secure an interview.

Checklist??? I am just wondering if I have missed returning the forms of DS 156 and DS 156k. Do I have to return both of them as well?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

What does the checklist say?

YMMV

The checklist consists of all those required documents to bring to the interview such as 4 photographs, police report, valid passport, evidence of relationship and so forth.

Anyway, I was able to figure out what was happening at my end from the other Vj member here whom had have the interview in Singapore. So, my problem solved! :) In fact, what I sent back to the Embassy were the correct required forms, I was just way too eager to have the interview date being set by emailing the consulate. I should have waited for the Packet 4 patiently.

Thanks, Payxibka!
