We all have more important things to do than answer telemarketer calls, so my suggestion is that you each take advantage of this opportunity to prevent wasted time.

The phone call method works well, and takes less than 3 minutes to complete.

REMEMBER: Cell Phone Numbers Go Public this week.

I used the internet address below to register numbers. Very easy.

REMINDER.... all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies tomorrow and you will start to receive sale calls.

BAD NEWS.... YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS

To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone: 888-382-1222.

It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time. It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different phone number.

HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS.. It takes about 20 seconds.

OR go to http://www.donotcall.gov

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

We just have a pre-pay phone and have never had telemarketers call us. They don't know how we exist, I think. :P

Don't put your number on anything online.

I did. Big mistake.

Sorry about that.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Actually I preferred it when I was receiving calls for a Jessica Diaz, who was apparently giving out her number as mine. I even got a guy call me up who was disappointed that he had the wrong number because he had danced with her in a club and she was a "hot piece of a$$".

I kid you not.

You totally should have played him... unfortunately you know that can be pretty dangerous with some folks being psychotic... making threats and all.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

That info seems a bit stale Becca.....Is there any truth to this? It appears this warning surfaces every year..

I get telemarketers call through prepaid cell phone. Switch over to a monthly service. Still get them. Most is regarding vehicle warrenty expiration. After registering, I didn't receive any more solicitation calls.
