I dont understand what all the riots are about. He kid was throwing fire bombs at the cop, so the cop acted in self defense. This goes to show the unity of Greeks, no matter if they are wrong, they still stick together.

This wouldnt even make the new in the US, but they are ripping up Greece for 1 kid, amazing.

What I understood (and could certainly be wrong about) was that the youth there is at a strong disadvantage in the job market, which is poor anyway with the economic downturn. The government is extremely corrupt. Nothing to do, no money, bad leadership, no hope, someone lights a match, and it all goes up in flames.
