I'm really worried now!!!!

ok so we got approved on Dec 5th, and I've received our NOA2 on 12/12/08 and so now it's 12/17 and I just called NVC and they haven't received our petition yet, they have no record of it do you think I should be worried? I mean how long does it take to get from CSC to NVC? help me please I really worry now...... I mean I look at the other similar timelines with me and cases and NVC received their petition within 6-8 days......

Any help would be appreciated!!

Did you speak to a live person or did you use the automated service.... the automated service does not have that information available for K1 visa you have to actually speak with someone to find out.... maybe it's just delayed with the Holidays. I wouldnt be so worried yet.

Hang in there. You will probably get a letter from the NVC in a few days with your embassy case number and also informing you the petition has been sent to the embassy. Good luck

I just used automated line..... but I will call later and try to talk to live person....

It can take 2 weeks or more for the I-129F to transit from USCIS to NVC.

Oh ok thank you thank you for taking some of my burdens off my shoulders..... I will call them then in a week, that will be two weeks since my NOA2 and so then I will see what is going on

Maybe you have your answer by now...sorry I have been AWOL due to a number of persoanl items. It took our petition about 1 week to be recieved by the NVC and then about 3 weeks from the time of NOA2 until it was recorded in Kiev. To make a long story short, we waited MORE time after the NOA2 than before, but some of that was our own scheduling problem. Besides, KIEV is where you want it not NVC, fo that I would say allow three weeks plus whatever delay the holidays cause. The concensus seems to be that nothing is happening now in Kiev until after Jan 12.
