Filed I-130 - is changing addresses a problem?

Hi!

I searched for an answer for this in the forum, but couldn't find any (I'm not a very proficient searcher though...).

I've filed my I-130 petition for my wife in Canada to come down to the US.

However, I've recently found a new house (in anticipation of her immigrating down here), and am seriously considering selling my place and buying and relocation to the new home.

Is it a problem for me to change addresses while my I-130 is in process? Will this cause any issues or delays?

My primary concern here is getting the paperwork processed in as timely a fashion as possible, so if this would cause an issue or delay, I'd rather just wait out the process and buy a new place after it's all been said and done.

Any advice on the matter is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

This wont cause any delays, however it may cause the I-130 NOA2 letter to get lost in the mail.

Call USCIS.GOV and update your address on the pending I-130, and call them again a few days later to confirm the address change.

USCIS is famous for marking mail "Return Service Requested" which causes the post office to return the NOA2 to USCIS not forwarded.
