I thought most Christians that knew Jesus wasn't born on Christmas, but since there is no other recorded birthdate, why not?

Yeah...that's my view on it too. As a little kid I thought he was born on Dec 25th(no one told me that, I just thought it). Then I learned he wasn't but we celebrate it that day anyway.

The comments so far have not surprised me, nor have they disappointed me.

I for one, always thought Jessie was born on Dec 25th. I just feel bad for the children if they ever know about

this party-pooper story.

We as adults could care less, but try to tell that to a child who awaits the fat dude to slide down the chimney on

Dec 25th. It`s a bummner if you would ask me....Oh I know, you could care less, we party anyway.

Santa and Jesus are two different people...I doubt most parents even relate the two. It's like oh yeah by the way we celebrate Jesus' birth but you better be good for Santa! Santa has the spotlight. (I don't like that personally but whatever).

It was in the 80s yesterday. We had a week or two of upper 60s during the day. I want that back.

You know how it is, people want what they can't have! I grew up here, with a hit or miss "cold" Christmas since I was a wee child! I know all you cold people want to be warm, well I want to be chilly on Christmas. It'll be in the 70s here I believe this year, no one should have to live that way on Christmas day. Most of the country is all cozy and bundled in their scarves and coats, like the movies.
