Hello phgirllovesjoe,

I believe I am correct in saying you can not pick a service center that you wish to send it to. You need to send it to the one that processes it for which state he lives in. I believe I just read he is in Alaska.

A. Form I-129F Filing Locations for K-1 Fiancé(e)

If you live in the United States:

File Form I-129F at the service center listed below based on where you live.

If you are filing abroad:

File Form I-129F with the service center listed below based on the last place you lived in the United States.

NOTE: Your petition cannot be adjudicated at a USCIS office abroad.

California Service Center Filings

File Form I-129F with the California Service Center if you live in:

Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, or Wyoming

If Alaska is where he lives than he must send the application to California at this address ....

Did you ever get your NOA1?That form comes in the mail (I-767C) that tells you they have received your case and has a receipt number. If not, then it looks like it got lost somewhere in the process. If you received it, then I would contact the service center directly to find out what happened. Everybody case I know of has been processed less than six months.Have you received any Request for Evidence or anything like that? Did they cash your check?

Hokey Smoke!

Rocky: "Baby, are they still mad at us on VJ?"

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."

No we don't use a lawyer. Some people wish to do that and others do not. I just do a lot of reading and rereading.

If you and him go to this link it will tell you everything you need to do for the initial application.

http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-129Finstr.pdf

Than I use this website to show you what needs to be done for the Phils Embassy.

Good luck to you both. God bless and Happy Holidays !
