Happy Wednesday MENA :energy:

I just got my 9 month old 15pound "Tiger" -cat back home from getting neutered. I feel so terrible for him! I know its necessary to get this done but I really feel horrible! I really feel like crying for him! :crying: And hes bleeding a bit and im trying to keep him on the pad so he doesnt get anything on our carpet.

On a good note- Adam & I got our Christmas tree put up since the male cat was out the house earlier. Its a little over 5ft tall. We put multi colored lights on it with purple and blue ornaments (our favorite colors) I think that was about 48 oraments or so. He asked why did we have to put so many on the tree? ... bcz its sooooo beautiful with ALL of them!

Hope kitty feels better.....

I just bought some Canadian Mukluks. Very expensive.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I went to Lexy's school program today, the lights went dim, the kids took the stage, I thought of how I had hoped Ibrahim would be here in time to see this,,,and the tears came. Yep, sitting in the dark next to Jessica, camera in hand, recording Lexy sing Santa Claus is Coming to Town...the tears fell for my husband. I miss him. I want him home and I'm tired of waiting another minute.

Im off work today, thankfully. I really didnt want to have to drive much today. My commute home yesterday took over an hour and is normally a 15-20 minute ride. It was a mess and I was terrified. I hate chicago winters :(

Zaids 2nd tooth is coming thru and he is SOOO crabby. Day care said he cried for hours yesterday. Poor kid. I really am not a fan of this whole teething thing. BC of his excessive sadness yesterday I was guilted into giving him a xmas present early. It sure did keep him entertained for a while. I cant wait for xmas morning and zaids reaction to all the paper ripping and toys. My next step after xmas is to go buy a toy box. i have no idea where I am going to put everything

Happy hump day everyone!! I have the next two days off..........YIPPEEEE!! Of course I'll spend most of it xmas shopping and wrapping, but at least I'll get it all done.

you should get some teething tablets for Zaid. I'm not sure about where u are but where I live they sell these all natural teething tablets that I used for my kids and I swear they made my life soooo much more bearable when they were teething. You should be able to get them in the grocery store and any pharmacy.......I'll try to remember what they are called. Hyland's teething tablets...........they totally work!

Hope everyone's having a good day!!

My OB told me today we would schedule the date of my c-section at my appointment next week. There is light at the end of the tunnel! (It has to be a c-section because Hana has been laying transverse and Zak has been breech for more than a month now.)

I feel bad now. Someone just went around and introduced him to everyone and he's sooo nice!!! He's from Bangledesh I guess. I thought he was from Afghanistan but I guess not. Anyhoo he's geniunely happy which I guess was why he was whistling. Once I get to know him I'll just tell him to STFU but we're not *there* yet. I usually throw rubber bands at my friend next to me when she's loud but then again we went to nursery school together so I can do that to her. :P

I'm bored too!!! I just finished up our medicare cost report for one of our entities and have to start a new one but I feel like I need a break inbetween the two. They're very cumbersome and boring and I hate doing them BUT it feels good to get them done.

I'm so happy hubby is cooking that fatah thing again tonight! He suprised me with it last Wednesday. His sisters gave him the recipe over the phone and he has it on the fridge...in arabic. Emily kept asking him, what goes next, then what? while he made it last Wednesday. I guess she's helping him with it again today, then they go to their dad's and I will come home to a nice warm yummy meal and a night of fun with mister man. :luv:

Be glad you didnt work next to me when I was pregnant. I threw homemade confetti and cinnamon hearts at my noisy friends. Pretty when it falls, but a ###### to clean up. People I didnt like were the unhappy recipients of staplers, plastic cups, markers, and computer parts. I abhor noisy people at work. Stupid friggin noisy women. Rant rant rant rant.

LOL!

There's a woman at my work who sings all the time. It's not that loud but I can hear it plainly and although she might sing in her church choir, it's quite different singing on your own, when your voice is the only one that can be heard.

It drives me batty but I haven't found a nice way to tell her that I'd rather hear nails coming down a chalkboard than one more day of her singing or humming.

Does anyone know of a *polite* way to tell someone that kind of thing? I'm not going to tell her to shut up or anything else like that, I'd get talked to by my boss. And if I complain to my boss about the singing, I'll get told that I'm too bitchy. *sigh*

Anyways, does anyone have any suggestions? She's a nice woman and I don't want to hurt her feelings but I REALLY REALLY REALLY don't want to hear her singing anymore.

Living with hubby in Egypt, at last.

What irritates me to no end...drumming on the desk. My students usually don't even realize when they do it! I usually ask them if they REALLY want to irritate their teacher like that. ;) That usually puts a stop to it. :)
