question for DS-156 form

Hello guys!

I'm just wondering because I read a post here to paste or glue the passport picture for DS-156.

Now my question is that, when attaching the pic, I noticed that the passport pictures that I had doesn't cover the entire box where you need to glue your pic.

So, I was wondering if I got the right size of the pic? Because if I try putting on the pics, it still has spaces of the insides of the box.

Does it really need to cover the entire box for the picture?

Next, is the DS-156 form the only form I need to attach a photo?

Hopefully you have US passport size pictures and not Philippine size.

I measured my photo and it was 2x2.. I'm just wondering if the photo needs to cover the entire box..

I went to the interview with my fiancee and she didn't glue or staple anything. They did it for her when they took the 156 from her.

There are people outside the Embassy who actually are selling glue! They will also offer to take 2x2 photos for you and develop them in a little time.

We had our interview on November 25 and so not much has changed so if you don't glue and just go with photos, you'll be okay. There was glue on the counters near the pre-screener windows as well so plenty of opportunity to fix if you need.

By the way, if your appointment is for 7:00am there really is no reason to be at the Embassy any earlier than 6:00am. There are no lines except for when the guard comes out several times to call people by their visa types. The guard will eventually yell K-1 and at that time people go over to line up but that isn't until around 6:30 or later. Once you get inside, you'll get a number. I have no idea how they pick which number is next, because they aren't called in order. My fiancee was one of the first to go to the prescreener of the K-1s, but one of the last called for the visa interview. I noticed one K-1 that was called for the interview only about 5 minutes after finishing with prescreener. Also, pretty much all the K-1s were being called for the interview around the same time. It was as if they grouped people by visa type. K-1s, on the day we were there, were next to last, if not last to be interviewed (maybe a good thing, COs are tiring out and just want to end the day so fewer questions maybe). The place was looking kind of empty by the time my fiancee was finished with her interview.
